Scarborough Info

The traditional seaside town of Scarborough in North Yorkshire is a popular and stunning coastal location. There is little wonder that this fine seaside town is one of the most populated areas of coastline in Yorkshire.

Attractions that can be found in the area include the ruins of the old Castle, which can be plainly seen from the beachfront as it sits atop the line of cliffs that overlook the coast. The town has several attractions and shops, as is typical of a British seaside resort, and there is no shortage of ways to be entertained.

Scarborough is traditionally a fishing port, but the changing tides of the modern age have put this formerly primary economic factor into the background. Although the harbour still houses a fish market, it is the tourism trade that provides the area with the majority of its economic wealth.
